On your voyage through the stars, stop at Santa's Workshop, celebrate the eight days of Hanukkah, dip into the world of Charles Dickens, and oh so much more!

This hour-long spectacular of merry marionettes invites you to celebrate the holidays at Bob Baker Marionette Theater with the whole family.

Tickets are $25. Ages 2 and under get in for free!

Our marionette adaptation of a ballet classic and Bob's most beloved holiday show since its opening in 1969 - now at Sierra Madre Playhouse!

Bob Baker’s Nutcracker debuts at the Sierra Madre Playhouse in 2024 to delight Angelenos and visitors alike! Created in 1969, this marionette adaptation of the classic ballet brings together traditional favorites, including Clara and Fred, the Nutcracker, the Rat King, and the Sugerplum Fairy, alongside Bob Baker’s playful and delightful creations and additions. This project was funded (in part) by a grant from Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts.
