Mallory Lewis and Lamb Chop on Their Mom's Legacy

BBMT’s very own Alex Evans and Winona Bechtle are thrilled to introduce Mallory Lewis and Lamp Chop as they become honor members of the time-honored Los Angeles Breakfast Club!

In 1957, Shari Lewis introduced her sock puppet Lamb Chop to the world on Captain Kangaroo. For the next 40 years, Shari Lewis & her creations entertained and educated children through a series of beloved television shows. Lewis advocated for quality children’s programming & went on to earn 12 Emmys, a Peabody & countless other accolades. Shari worked closely with her daughter Mallory Lewis on her final two series Lamb Chop’s Play-Along & The Charlie Horse Music Pizza.

After Shari Lewis’s passing in 1998, Mallory has kept her legacy alive, touring and performing with Lamb Chop, Charlie Horse & Hush Puppy. Mallory and Lamb Chop will join The LABC on April 3rd to celebrate 25 years together as performers and to honor their mother’s legacy.
