Dance until the sun goes down! For the first event in our Laugh to Keep from Crying Series, dance off your worries at this all-ages dance party. Families, friends, and footloose folk are invited to join us to a dance party (with puppets!) hosted by the incredible DJ duo Of Your Persuasion.
Beverages and more fun will be available! Kick off your happy hour with our dance party, and then join us for Hallowe’en Spooktacular at 7:30 PM (tickets sold separately here). The dance party will keep going after Spooktacular for additional fun!
About Of Your Persuasion
Of Your Persuasion is DASH + SERA, an LA-based married couple, both originally from California. After spending their 20s & 30s living parallel lives in sister cities - SERA in NYC starting with college radio, and then djing fashion industry events and downtown weekly parties, and DASH in SF djing the underground party scene -they finally found each other on the dance floor at 40. Queer visibility being important to them both, they were honored to share our story with the world on Netflix's Sex, Love & Goop (2022). They know their purpose in life together is to make people feel good through music. Their vinyl collection includes Disco, New Wave, 80's, 90's hip hop, 70's rock n' roll, and 50’s + 60's feel-good oldies AND they are never too cool for your guilty pleasure favs...they are probably theirs too! They love bringing people together, making special events and celebrations ones to remember.

From September until November 2024, join BBMT for an evening event series to awaken your joy and imagination as we blow off some collective steam. Laugh off your worries. Dance off your stress. Enjoy a moment of release from the constant news cycle with events ranging from screenings to music shows to dance parties. We’ll bring a little more joy into the world together, one laugh at a time.
