Hollywood Entertainment and Moviepassed have come a long way in 5 years!

Join us for a historic video show-and-tell and birthday bash! A decadent evening of favorite clips, found footage, and lost and secret treasures with puppets, music, live comedy, and very special guests!

On 4/20/20, Moviepassed made its first broadcast. That call sparked a year-plus project of smart, weird, subversive, community-oriented streaming programming and fundraisers for viewers’ causes-of-choice. Then came the evolution into Hollywood Entertainment, LA’s most repped-up, bewildering, boundary-breaking, and classically traditional repertory non-profit screening series.

Hollywood Entertainment was created to entertain and educate filmgoers by screening and preserving eclectic, underseen, non-commercial, rare, and socially beneficial films and film-related artifacts. The non-profit organization evolved out of Moviepassed, a near-daily stream of online movie watching that began in April 2020.
