We’re celebrating the culmination of years of revitalizating our Theater and our historic building with our newly restored Marquee, made possible through the generous support of the Perenchio Foundation and created in partnership with Signmakers and Escott O. Norton. At the York Theatre, our home in Highland Park since 2019, we have been building toward the most robust version of Bob Baker's vision ever. We are now proud to bring the imagination and joy that folks experience inside our doors outside to the community through the restoration of the marquee. In classic BBMT style, using traditional neon, bulb lighting, historic deco architecture features, and topped with our trumpeter clown Toot, our marquee is a beacon on York Blvd. and a symbol of our resilience and commitment to remaining IN LA TO STAY.
